More About
FOOD DISTRIBUTION
We Partner with local area Community Helpers
to Provide Meals and Provisions to Impoverished Regions.
The Sakina Charity Fund collaborates with other local charities and community helpers to provide food to incoming refugees and impoverished communities in the Metro Detroit Area. During Ramadan we provide iftar dinners for the poorer Masjid communities of Metro Detroit.
Ramadan Iftar Program:
In Islamabad and Lahore we provide Iftar during the holy month of Ramadan. Since 2021, hundreds of poor families have received food rations, including staples like rice, lentils, sugar, and cooking oil.
We also provide catered iftar dinners for refugee families in Islamabad who do not have access to cooking facilities. These provisions are crucial for families struggling to make ends meet due to job losses and rising food prices.
Our mission is to alleviate hunger and provide nourishment to those in need.
School Lunch Program:
Looking ahead, our charity has an ambitious plan: to establish a free lunch program for children attending impoverished schools. We believe that access to nutritious meals is essential for a child’s growth, learning, and overall well-being. By providing lunches, we aim to support these young minds and contribute to their brighter future.
Our commitment remains unwavering, and we will continue to collaborate with local charities, volunteers, and communities to make a positive impact on the lives of those facing adversity. Together, we can create a stronger, more compassionate society where no one is left behind.
